Celebrating International Women's Day

Each year we arrange a special event to honour our widows on International Women's Day. We love having the chance to share a time of happiness and joy with our clients and we think international Women's Day is a brilliant chance to empower our widows.

This year we organised an online event for our widows to join, with fun activities such as bingo with prizes to be won! We gave out special prizes to 25 of our widows to help them feel joy and we will continue this plan into the next year and the next International Women's Day. 

Our clients love having the chance to talk to each other and to us and we love providing this service to them, in the fight to end loneliness and social isolation we have been working hard to make sure as many of our community are included as possible. 

We hope that next year we will be able to join in with the International Women's Day walk in Manchester, as we did in 2020. It was such a fun and inspiring atmosphere to be a part of and we look forward to the next time we are able to participate.
