We have partnered with the NHS care navigators to offer a wonderful new service to our clients. We are happy to offer the new Smart Home Monitor system to our clients who agree to join the program. A Smart Home Monitor is one of many ways we are working to keep our clients safe and connected and we think it will be ideal to offer this to all our clients.
A smart home monitor is a monitor that detects if someone is inactive for long periods of time in the home. It is placed in the bedroom and the most used room in the house and it monitors motion activity, temperature and humidity to make sure that our clients are comfortable and safe at home. If the house gets too hot or cold, the humidity in the house is wrong, or if activity isn't detected for 48 hours then the monitor alerts the team at NHS care navigators who will then contact the next of kin for the client to check on them.
We think this is a really important tool to help keep our clients safe and healthy, especially after the covid pandemic. We promise that the monitor system doesn't record any data and cannot be used for anything other than monitoring purposes. We are invested in the health and safety of our clients and highly recommend this system to any who feel they could benefit from it.
