You may supply us with information about you by filling in forms on our website, or if you meet us in person at an event, or if you provide us with your information during a telephone call with us. • to provide you with information and/or services that you request from us, for instance, if you wish to attend one of our Wellbeing Centres, or an event we are running, or you wish to use our Befriending Service.

• to inform you about events that we are running or services that may be of interest to you.

In both cases, we rely on our legitimate interests in providing our services as our lawful basis for processing your personal data.

• Disclosure of your information

We may share your personal with our third-party service providers (such as IT hosts) or in exceptional circumstances, where we are required to do so by law.

How long we retain your information

We will retain your personal data in accordance with our record retention policy, which is as follows:

• For personal data we hold about staff (including employees, temporary staff and volunteers), we will hold personal data for six (6) years after they have stopped working with us;

• We will hold our clients' personal data for a period of two (2) years after our last contact with them.

If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy notices, for which we do not accept any responsibility or liability. You are responsible for checking any third party website operators' privacy notice before you submit any personal data to them.

Your rights - access to your personal data

You have the right of access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data, the right to the restriction of our processing of your personal data, and the right to object to our processing of your personal data as well as the right to data portability. We will provide your personal data to you within the statutory time frame, which is generally one month, unless your request is complex, in which case me may extend the period by a further two months. We may ask for proof of your identity, and to enable us to trace any of your personal data that we may be holding, we may need to request further information from you. If you have a complaint about how we have used your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
